Jim Raffel is the owner of the
Arbys in Auburn, Augusta
and Portland. You could say roast
beef is in his blood as his father
Leroy was the co-founder of Arbys
in 1964. From having witnessed
the first Arbys open, to
being a sales person at the age
of 16, to opening his first restaurant
at the age of 21, Jim has been
involved with Arbys his
entire life. His philosophies
today are the same as 1964
serve hot delicious food, in a
sparkling clean restaurant by
friendly, fast and efficient employees.
Im not in the food
business, Im in the people
business. Treat your employees
with respect and dignity and they
will treat your customers the
same. Because of this philosophy
Jim has managers who have worked
for him for 17 years, 20 years
and 23 years.
